Recognition of Tourist Site - Nguyen Thi Ut Heroic Martyr Memorial
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Le Thanh Binh, has recently signed and issued Decision No. 1235/QD-UBND, officially recognizing the tourist site of the Nguyen Thi Ut Heroic Martyr Memorial (Ut Tich).
The statue of a Mother holding a gun is placed at the Memorial of Heroic Martyr Nguyen Thi Ut.
With this recognition, the Provincial People's Committee has entrusted the Culture, Information, and Sports Center of Cau Ke District with the responsibility of managing, developing, and maintaining the tourist site, ensuring the conditions for its recognition as a tourist attraction. They are also mandated to uphold their rights and obligations as stipulated by the law. Meanwhile, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism will oversee the state management of the tourist site, adhering to the current regulations in place.
The Nguyen Thi Ut Heroic Martyr Memorial, situated in Ngoc Ho Hamlet, Tam Ngai Commune, Cau Ke District, Tra Vinh Province, covers a total area of over 1.4 hectares. The site encompasses various architectural elements including a three-gate entrance, rest area, memorial house, exhibition hall showcasing traditions, conference hall, movie screening area, and souvenir services.
