In 2022, Da Nang maintained its leading position for the third consecutive year, followed by Ho Chi Minh City and Quang Ninh in the second and third positions, respectively. Among the ministries and sectors providing public services, the Ministry of Planning and Investment claimed the top spot. For the ministries and sectors not providing public services, the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology remained at the forefront.

This marks the third year of the Ministry of Information and Communications conducting assessments of the DTI index at both the ministerial and provincial levels. With the DTI index, ministries, sectors, and localities can effectively and fairly monitor and evaluate the progress of digital transformation each year, enabling them to devise appropriate orientations and solutions for the future.
